This policy sets out how cancellations, date changes and refunds are handled for bookings at The Rosewood Resort, Kanha. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
All cancellations must be made in writing to therosewoodkanha@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at +91 77258 24226. A cancellation takes effect from the time we acknowledge it in writing, not from the time your message is sent. Please keep our acknowledgement for your records.
Refunds on the advance paid are calculated from the scheduled date of check-in:
If you shorten your stay after check-in, or do not use nights that were confirmed and paid for, no refund is payable for the unused nights.
One date change is permitted free of charge if requested more than 15 days before the original check-in date, subject to availability and to payment of any difference in rate. Date changes requested later are treated as a cancellation and a fresh booking. A booking may be moved only once.
Safari permit fees, gate entry charges and guide fees are collected by the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department and are governed by its rules. These amounts are generally non-refundable and are outside our control, including where a safari is cancelled by the Forest Department for weather, conservation or administrative reasons.
Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 10 business days of our written confirmation, to the original payment method or bank account from which the advance was received. The time taken for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or card issuer. Bank charges, payment gateway fees and currency conversion losses, where applicable, are not refundable.
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a confirmed booking, we will offer you comparable alternative accommodation where possible, or refund the full advance paid without deduction. Our liability in such cases is limited to the amount paid to us.
If a stay cannot take place because of circumstances beyond reasonable control, including extreme weather, flooding, epidemics, government orders or road and park closures, we will issue a credit note for the advance paid, valid for six months from the original check-in date and usable subject to availability and any rate difference.
Group bookings, exclusive buyouts, weddings and other events are governed by separate cancellation terms, which are confirmed in writing at the time of booking and override this policy.
